Our Lady of Aspromont

Marian shrine near Louvain, renowned for miracles. In 1604, on the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, Lapide was staying near the shrine assisting pilgrims when Dutch cavalry attacked. He was almost captured and killed but was miraculously preserved.
