The role of the Apostolic See in overseeing the integrity of Scripture, enforcing conciliar decrees, and exercising supreme jurisdiction over the Church's discipline. The care of Scripture's integrity pertains especially to the Apostolic See; the Pope exercises authority to regulate printing and commands enforcement through the hierarchy.
